The best Disneyland Paris rides in Disneyland Park

Disneyland Park is by far the biggest, best and most beautiful of the two Disneyland Paris theme parks. Not only will you find the beautiful pink castle here, but also most of the attractions. And a lot of those you definitely don’t want to miss.

Here’s the list of our favourites!

Family attractions

Phantom Manor in Disneyland Park

Most attractions in Disneyland Park are suitable for the whole family. Father, mother, grandpa, grandma, brother, sister and even babies can come along. If they dare of course!

One of our favourite family attractions is Peter Pan’s Flight where you are taken to Neverland while floating in a pirate ship. Children love floating through the stars and seeing London from above. And of course, Peter, Wendy and Captain Hook will also make an appearance.

Another attraction for the whole family is Phantom Manor. This is a haunted house, but not that scary at all. There is a spooky atmosphere, the corridors are dark, and you will encounter some ghosts. It never really frightens you and most children are proud to have been in the haunted house afterwards.

Do you like games? Then pay a visit to Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. Here you try to collect as many points as possible by aiming at targets with a laser gun. You do this together with Buzz Lightyear to defeat the evil emperor Zurg.

Finally, don’t miss Autopia. Because in this attraction, children get to drive cars themselves!

Thrill rides

Big Thunder Mountain

Think Disneyland Park only has attractions for children? Then you’re wrong! Because you will also find the best thrill rides here.

One of them is Star Wars HyperSpace Mountain, where you are shot into space with a cannon. Here you will find yourself in a space battle and will have to find your way back to Earth through various inversions.

We stay with Star Wars for a while longer, as in Star Tours The Adventures Continue you go on a 4D adventure to the worlds from the films. The simulator makes you feel the g-forces and this attraction is definitely not inferior to other thrill rides.

Finally, there are two roller coasters in Disneyland Park that you definitely don’t want to miss. First of all, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. A wild rollercoaster with fast turns and a hidden inversion.

And our favourite, Big Thunder Mountain, is a runaway mine train that takes you at high speed through dark tunnels onto a deserted island.

For toddlers

Mad Hatter Teacups and Alice’s Curious Labyrinth

And are you going to Disneyland Paris for the first time with your little one or not sure if they are ready for attractions yet? Then put the following rides on your list.

Lancelot’s Carousel is a beautiful merry-go-round with horses that takes you on a leisurely ride with upbeat Disney music playing in the background.

Another attraction set to upbeat music is It’s a Small World. This boat ride takes you around all the countries of the world with colourful puppets, animals and sets.

Other fun kids’ attractions in Disneyland Paris include Le Pays de Contes de Fee, a boat ride through fairy tales, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, where you can fly around on Dumbo’s back, and Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups, for when they are already ready for some more exciting attractions.

Want to introduce your little one to roller coasters? Then head to Casey Jr – the little circus train. This is a gentle rollercoaster ride in the train from the Dumbo films. The ride is quite short so if they find it exciting, they can get off quickly too.

And finally, is your little one still too small for attractions? Then there’s Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, a maze where you try to find your way past the characters from the film to the Heart Queen’s castle.

Hopefully, this article has given you a good idea of the attractions at Disneyland Park. Do you have any questions or can we help you with anything? If so, leave a comment below!
