Disneyland Paris has been open to the public since July 15, 2020. But with a number of differences. For example, you are required to keep 1 meter distance between you and people outside your group, the park capacity is a lot lower than normal and not all hotels are open.
The opening hours of Disneyland Paris during this Covid19 time may also be slightly different than you are used to.
What are the opening hours?
The biggest difference with, for example, last year is that the parks are opening hours are considerably shorter. Currently, Disneyland Park is open from 10am to 8pm, Walt Disney Studios Park from 10am to 7pm.
For hotel guests and people with an Infinity or Magic Plus Annual Pass there is still Extra Magic Time. They are allowed to enter both parks at 8:30 am to already visit some of the attractions. That’s why you shouldn’t be surprised if there is a long line at Crush’s Coaster before normal opening hours. Those are the visitors with Exta Magic Time.
Are there any evening shows at Disneyland Paris?
No, unfortunately, there are no evening shows at the moment. You may remember how busy it always was at Disneyland Park at evening time.
During Illuminations – as the last evening show was called – people lined up in front of the castle and they often had to look for a spot. Not very useful in these times. Therefore this show will not be performed for the time being.
This also applies to the announced parades, I say announced because there are still (mini) parades, but it will no longer be announced when they will be held. Usually, you notice it by the music that suddenly changes.
Another parade is now being given as a show: the Jungle Book Jive. This was a parade – from last year – that continued as a show at the castle. This show is now held in the theater of Moteurs: Action the stunt show.
Do you have enough time to see everything?
Absolutely. It is now a lot quieter in Disneyland Paris than normal. The waiting times have been almost half what it was before and some attractions you can go on without waiting.
Despite the reduced opening hours in this corona period, you still have enough time to see everything at Disneyland Paris.
