The best restaurants in Disneyland Paris!

With over a hundred visits to Disneyland Paris, I tried most of the restaurants. From high-end table service restaurants to cheaper counter service and fast-food places.

Since you have to make your restaurant reservations well in advance, it’s good to have a list you can consider. These are my go-to restaurants when I’m in Disneyland Paris. And of course, I tried them all!

Best restaurants in Disney Village

Annette’s Diner

Cheeseburger at Annette’s Diner

Annette’s Diner is a restaurant in Disney Village. You can recognize it by the classic American cars parked in front of the entrance. Inside, it’s decorated like an American diner, with lots of pink and the waiters on roller skates bringing your food.

It’s mainly the theme that makes this restaurant stand out on the list. But there are two more reasons.

The first is the menu, mostly consisting of hamburgers. This makes the restaurant very suitable for families with children. There are several types of burgers, large and small, or vegetarian, so there is plenty to choose from.

The burgers are a bit more expensive than at other places in the park, but you get a freshly grilled piece of meat with a large plate of fries. I usually take the cheeseburger, which is often more than enough. If I’m hungry, I add the onion rings as an appetizer, which are also very tasty.

They also have a huge burger that is part of a challenge. If you finish the burger and empty your plate, then you get a free milkshake. My partner did it once, and he still talks about it.

Rainforest Café

Inside of Rainforest Café

We stay in Disney Village for the second restaurant on the list: Rainforest Café. This restaurant is perfect for families with young children.

Inside, the restaurant is decorated like a jungle with moving animals. There is plenty to see during the meal. There is also a store with some animal-themed souvenirs.

The menu contains fairly general food, meat, fish, and vegetarian meals. Along with that comes several children’s entrées.

For the food, I would not go here; for the experience, I would. If you go with children, this is a very suitable restaurant, for adults, I would personally choose another restaurant unless you like to eat with animatronic animals.

Earl of Sandwich

Outside of the Earl of Sandwich restaurant

Earl of Sandwich is a well-known sandwich restaurant. And a popular spot in Disney Village. This is where we usually go for lunch. It has two advantages. The first is that you can eat a sandwich, instead of a hot meal with fries. The other is that it is often quite peaceful during lunch, which contrasts with the Disney Parks restaurants.

On the menu are all kinds of sandwiches with many types of meats, cheeses, and other toppings. They also have salads and several other options. I usually go for the club sandwich, which is the closest to a healthy sandwich. My partner typically goes for huge sandwiches with lots of toppings.

Earl of Sandwich is also one of the few places outside the Disney Hotels where you can get breakfast. You can choose from 3 different meals, and they are affordable too.

Best restaurants in the Disneyland Park

From Disney Village, we now move on to the following location of the best restaurants in Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Park.

Captain Jack’s

Barracuda in Captain Jack’s

Captain Jack’s is a restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Not next door, not nearby, but really inside the attraction. You see the boats go by and are almost constantly waving at the people passing by, no problem.

The location of this restaurant is striking, and the menu is special, especially for a theme park. It has a Caribbean menu with lots of fresh fish and some meat dishes. When we ate here, my partner had the chicken and shrimp with rice, and I had the fish of the day, which turned out to be barracuda. Both dishes were delicious, although I still liked my fish dish best.

An exotic menu and kids don’t always go together. If your kids are not adventurous eaters, know that they have special dishes on the menu for children, that are not that adventurous.

One last tip: make your reservations well in advance! Making a reservation on the same day usually doesn’t guarantee a table. We were lucky to get a table around 3:30 p.m. on a quiet winter’s day, but on busy days that is not the case. So if you want to eat here, make your reservations 2 months in advance!

Restaurant Agrabah

Entrance of Agrabah Cafe

Restaurant Agrabah is located in Adventureland, in the Aladdin section of the park. This is one of the most affordable buffet restaurants in the resort. With good food too!

The name suggests that you will not find hamburgers and fries here, and that’s correct! You can eat as much falafel, kofta, merguez, and couscous here as you like. The menu is based on Moroccan cuisine. And the children’s menu is equally exotic.

Auberge de Cendrillon

Outside of Auberge de Cendrillon

Always wanted to dine with royalty? Then Auberge de Cendrillon is the place! Here you’ll dine with royalty near the castle and get a visit from the Disney princesses. They come to your table, have a chat, and you can even dance with them.

If your kids love the Disney princesses, then you should definitely eat here. Just know that the restaurant has French cuisine. It is high-quality food, but it may not be what everyone likes. If you want to ensure your kids like it, check the menu on the Disneyland Paris website or locally beforehand.

Like many other restaurants on the list, making reservations early at Auberge de Cendrillon is advisable. There are only a limited number of tables, and making a reservation prevents disappointment.

Restaurant Hakuna Matata

Meal at restaurant Hakuna Matata

This is a restaurant in Adventureland that I walked past for years without knowing how good the food there was. Restaurant Hakuna Matata has an African menu inspired by the Lion King movies.

The menu includes meatballs in tomato sauce, kebabs, chicken pieces, and vegetable curry. For children, there are also chicken nuggets and sausages.

The dishes can be ordered separately or as a menu with a drink and dessert. My favorite is the chicken pieces and the meatballs. As I don’t like rice, I always ask if they can change it for fries, usually, that’s not a problem.

Silver Spur Steakhouse

If you like a nice, large piece of meat, I would definitely go to the Silver Spur Steakhouse. The menu is a bit sparse for vegetarians, but if you like meat, this is the place to be. Like other steakhouses, you can choose from various types of meat, including rib-eye (pictured above) and steak. But ribs, grilled chicken, and prawns are also on the menu.

You will find the Silver Spur Steakhouse next to Phantom Manor, the haunted house in Frontierland. This has given the restaurant a wild west theme.

It is one of the more expensive restaurants in the park, but we enjoy coming there despite that. Simply because you get a good piece of meat. And afterward, you are full for the rest of the day, especially if you take an appetizer. We usually order the carpaccio.

Best restaurants in the Walt Disney Studios Park

We now move on to the next theme park from the Disneyland Parks, and the best restaurants in Disneyland Paris: the Walt Disney Studios Park!

Bistrot Chéz Remy

Steak with bearnaise sauce and some ratatouille

Bistrot Chéz Remy is the restaurant at the exit of the Ratatouille attraction. This is the restaurant you see at the end of the ride where all the rats are eating in the garden.

It’s a nicely themed restaurant perfect for families.

You can only order fixed menus here. The difference is the price and the types of food you can select. We usually go for the cheapest option, with a salad as a starter, steak as an entrée, and a lovely chocolate mousse as dessert. A soft drink is included in the menu.

PYM Kitchen

PYM Kitchen desserts

PYM kitchen is the newest table service restaurant in Disneyland Paris. Here, you can eat foods inspired by the Ant-Man movies. In these movies, the PYM particle can either shrink things or blow them up. This also happened with the food in this restaurant.

You can have a slice of a massive hamburger and combine this with miniature fries. They also have several other meat and vegetable dishes. But we loved the desserts the most!

If you want to eat here, make sure to make reservations well in advance. It’s a popular restaurant! You will find this restaurant in Avengers Campus, the newest area of Walt Disney Studios Park.

Best Restaurants in the Disney Hotels

We are finally at the last category, the best restaurants in the Disney Hotels. We have two favorites—with the Disneyland Hotel being closed. These are the ones you shouldn’t miss!

Chuck Wagon Cafe

Chuck Wagon Cafe outside

Chuck Wagon Cafe is the restaurant of Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne. If you stay here, this is the place where you have breakfast in the morning.

However, at night, you can also have dinner here. It’s a buffet style restaurant, like many in Disneyland Paris, with typical cowboy food. Lots of grilled meat, salads, bread, and other foods.

We really enjoyed eating here, and the smell is wonderful! It’s also a fairly cheap restaurant, good to consider even when you are not staying here.

Downtown Restaurant

Downtown Restaurant menu

This is one of the newest restaurants in Disneyland Paris in the recently renovated Disney’s Hotel New York—The Art of Marvel.

It’s a buffet restaurant inspired by the many cultures in the city of New York. You can get as many Chinese, Italian, and American dishes as you like. And be prepared to try lots of food here!

The thing I like the most here is that you can always find something for everyone. My partner loves Chinese food, while I enjoy eating hamburgers. Here we can grab the food we both like, without arguing where to eat. It’s a bit expensive, but a good place to bring children to, as they offer a lot of foods they are used to.
