Luckily, there are plenty of options when it comes to accommodations! You can find hotels of all shapes and sizes within walking distance of the park, or choose from one of the many (cheaper) resorts that are located just a short drive away.

And for those who prefer camping or want more budget-friendly options, there are camping grounds located close by as well. So no matter what your travel style or budget is, you can find a place to stay near Disneyland Paris that fits your needs!

What are the options?

When you’re planning a trip to Disneyland Paris, one of the most important decisions you’ll have to make is where to stay. There are many places to choose from, and it can be tough to decide which one is right for you.

Disney Hotels are always a popular choice and for good reason. They’re close to the park, and you can take advantage of extra perks like early entry into the parks. If you’re looking for a more luxurious stay, there are plenty of high-end hotels to choose from as well.

A cheaper alternative are the Disneyland Paris Partner Hotels. These are hotels that are not owned by Disney, but they’re still located close to the resort and offer a free shuttle service to the parks. You can find some great deals on these hotels, and they’re a good option if you’re travelling on a budget.

If you’re looking for something a little different, there are also camping grounds and holiday parks available near Disneyland Paris. Camping is a great option if you’re travelling with kids, and it gives you the opportunity to explore the beautiful French countryside.

The Disney Hotels: staying near the Disney Parks

Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel during Christmas season

The hotels on the Disneyland Paris resort are called the Disney Hotels. These are all located within walking distance of the parks.

They are the most expensive hotels near the resort. But they offer a lot of great amenities, like early access to the parks and free shuttle buses. And tickets are included if you book a stay in one of these hotels.

These hotels are the best option when visiting with small children as you have the convenience of being able to walk back to your room whenever you want.

And as a guest of the Disney Hotels you will have Extra Magic Time, which means you can go access the parks one hour earlier than other guests. During that hour you can explore the parks with much smaller crowds, and even enjoy some of the most popular rides with minimal waits.

The biggest challenge will be: which one should you choose?

The Disneyland Hotel – the most luxurious and best location

The Disneyland Hotel is the most expensive Disney Hotel located above the entrance of Disneyland Park. This hotel is currently undergoing a renovation and therefore can’t be booked. When it reopens this hotel will have a princess theme.

Partner Hotels and other accommodations nearby

B&B Hotel Disneyland Paris

Near the resort there are lots of other hotels and accommodations.

The Disneyland Paris Partner Hotels are spread out around the resort and offer a free shuttle service to the parks. You could walk to the parks from these hotels but it will take you about 45 minutes.

The biggest advantage of these hotels is that they are cheaper than the Disney Hotels. But remember that tickets are not included when you book a stay in one of these hotels.

In the city of Serris and the surrounding area there are lots of other hotels and appartments you can book. This is a great option if you’re looking for a more affordable stay near Disneyland Paris, but they don’t come with the luxury of a shuttle bus. You will have to walk to the Disney parks or take the metro.

You could also take the car but then you will have to pay the parking fee at the Disneyland Paris parking lot which is €30 every time you enter the parking lot. Even if you have already been there earlier that day.

Camping Grounds and Holiday Parks

If you would like more space and to be closer to nature, you could book a stay in one of the camping grounds or holiday parks near Disneyland Paris.

Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch

Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is a holiday park operated by Disney. Here you stay in one of the spacious cabins in a wooded area. As a guest of this park you can enjoy Extra Magic Time and free parking at the Disney Parks. But keep in mind that there is no shuttle bus service to the parks.

Staying in one of these cabins has some advantages. You can bring your dog, you have your own parking spot next to your cabin, and you can use the large indoorpool with slide as much as you like. Disney’s Davy Crockett is the cheapest of the Disney operated accommodations and a great place to stay if you would like to save some money.

Villages Nature Paris

If you would like to be close to nature but still have some luxury, then you could book a stay at one of the accommodations at Villages Nature Paris. This is a new holiday park that opened in 2015 and it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.

At Villages Nature Paris you can choose to stay in one of the hotels, apartments, or even camping spots. And if you’re traveling with young children, then you will be happy to hear that there is a kids club and a babysitting service so you can enjoy some time to yourselves.

As this resort is operated by Center Parcs you won’t have the same benefits as guest staying at a Disney Hotel. But you will be able to relax in the amazing Aqualagon which is an indoor waterpark with 7 pools, multiple slides, a lazy river, and even a spa.

Other camping grounds and holiday parks near Disneyland Paris

In the area surrounding Disneyland Paris, there are many more camping grounds and holiday parks. Staying there is usually a lot cheaper than the accommodations near the resort.

The downside is that the location might not be as convenient if you plan on mainly visiting the Disney Parks. But if you would like to explore the area a bit more, and go to Versailles and other attractions in the area, then these might be a great option for you.

Staying in Paris

Of course, you could also stay in the city of Paris itself. This has the advantage that you can easily visit other attractions in the city like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame.

The downside is that it will take you about an hour to get to Disneyland Paris by train or car. And keep in mind that you will have to pay for parking at the Disney Parks if you drive.

Final thoughts

There are many different accommodation options to choose from when planning a trip to Disneyland Paris. Whether you’re looking for a luxurious hotel or a more affordable camping spot, there’s something for everyone.

If it’s your first – and only – time visiting the resort then I would book a Disney Hotel for the convenience. The Partner Hotels and other accommodations in the area are a great way to save some money.

But if you’re planning on spending more time in the area, and want to visit other attractions as well, then staying in Paris or at one of the camping grounds might be a better option for you.
