Restaurant Agrabah Café in Disneyland Paris

Even though we have been visiting Disneyland Paris since 1993, we never once went to Agrabah Café. The restaurant is pretty hidden, near the Adventureland entrance, and has a pretty specific menu. And with me loving hamburgers and fries, there were always other places to eat in Disneyland Park. But finally, we took the plunge and visited Agrabah Café, was it worth the wait?

About Restaurant Agrabah Café

Inside Agrabah Café

If you want to ensure you can visit this restaurant on your next visit, make a reservation through the Disneyland Paris app two months in advance. Disney Hotel guests can book a table up to 12 months in advance, so do this as early as possible.

The restaurant is located in Adventureland, one of the five themed lands in Disneyland Park. The entrance of this land is left of the castle and looks like a building from the Aladdin film. Go underneath the entrance, and on the right, you will find Restaurant Agrabah Café.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by a host asking if you have a reservation. Then you are asked to wait to be shown to your table. We got a small table on the side as it was just the two of us. Most tables have a mosaic or Moroccan-inspired look; ours was, unfortunately, just made of colourful wood.

However, the restaurant’s overall atmosphere made up for that, as it felt like we were eating in a Moroccan Bazar. It’s such a pretty and underrated restaurant, as you cannot see how beautiful it is from the outside. We also really loved the details, like you can see in the image above.

The food

Now the part I had been dreading before visiting this restaurant was the food. Restaurant Agrabah Café offers an all-you-can-eat buffet for a fixed price. For adults, this was around €40; for children, it’s a bit cheaper, €22. The Mediterranean inspires the food and includes hummus, couscous, lots of grilled vegetables, and several types of meats like lamb and chicken. On the side, you can get rice or pita bread, no fries or potatoes (the horror!).

My husband absolutely loved it, as he is sick of me always ordering hamburgers and fries. He couldn’t get enough of all the food and went back to try more things multiple times. For me, it took a little getting used to, but I must admit, the food is really good!

As a starter, I got some pita bread with hummus and cucumber salad. Then I decided on green beans, chicken meatballs in tomato sauce, and a juicy chicken leg. There are even some herbs and spices on the side you can add to spice up your meal. But it wasn’t necessary, as it was all so flavourful.

Even though we were full, we decided on some dessert. My husband really likes everything sweet, so he opted for own of the cakes. I went for themed macarons and dates.

Would I eat here again?

Absolutely! I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour of the food and all the options at the buffet. Even the little ones around us seemed to enjoy the adventurous food options.

There were so many things we wanted to try that we ended up sharing and were still absolutely stuffed when we left the restaurant. It’s also a pretty affordable restaurant, for Disney standards, of course. And when you use the dining plan, it’s a good deal.

Because the food is a bit more adventurous and might not appeal to everyone, this is one of the easiest reservations to get. However, I do advise making a reservation just in case.

We went here around 4 pm, and it was really nice and quiet. I can imagine that it can get pretty crowded during peak lunch and dinner times, so plan your meal accordingly.
