Disney Village is part of the Disneyland Paris resort, located between the Parks and the Disney Hotels. It’s a vibrant and lively area with restaurants, bars, and shops. The perfect place to relax and have fun after a busy day in the Parks!
There’s something for everyone at Disney Village, whether you want to grab a quick bite, sit down for a leisurely meal, do some shopping, or enjoy some evening entertainment.
What is Disney Village, and what can you find there?
Disney Village is an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment complex at Disneyland Paris. It’s a great place to grab some breakfast in the morning, do some last-minute shopping before going home, or just spend some time after the parks are closed.
There are plenty of places to eat at Disney Village, including quick-service restaurants, table-service restaurants, bars and cafés. You can find everything from burgers and pizza to fine dining at Disney Village.
If you’re looking for souvenirs or Disney-themed clothing, there are plenty of shops to choose from. There is also a large LEGO store where you can buy some amazing creations.
Disney Village is also home to some great evening entertainment. You can grab a drink and watch live sports at the Sportsbar, do some dancing in the famous Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon, or see a movie in the large movie theatre.
Where to eat?
One of the best things to do in Disney Village is eat! There are many restaurants you can choose from. My personal favourite is Annette’s Diner. This is an American-style restaurant known for its hamburgers. The servers bring your food on roller skates; it’s incredible to see.
For small children, Rainforest Café is the best restaurant. This is a themed restaurant with moving animals and a rainforest setting. The food is OK, nothing special, but children will love the atmosphere.
For those looking for a more adult dining experience, I recommend Planet Hollywood. This restaurant is famous for its movie memorabilia and celebrity sightings. The food is American fare with a twist.
Another good restaurant is The Steakhouse. This restaurant is a bit more expensive but serves some of the best steaks I’ve ever had. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a nice romantic dinner, but don’t forget to make a reservation in advance through the Disneyland Paris app, as this is a pretty popular restaurant.
Disney Village is also home to some fast-food restaurants. At Earl of Sandwich, it’s pretty obvious what you can eat; the same goes for Mcdonald’s. Are you craving some Italian food? Then visit Vapiano, where you can eat in or take your pizzas to your room.
The best shops
Now it’s time for my second favourite thing to do when I’m in Disney Village: shopping! Most shops here sell the same items you can find in the parks. But if you’re looking for something special, like Disney-themed clothing or souvenirs, there are still plenty of options.
One of the best shops is World of Disney. This store is huge and sells everything Disney. You can find clothes, toys, Disney pins, collectables and more. It’s the perfect place to find a special Disney gift.
For those who love shopping for Disney clothes, I recommend the Disney Fashion boutique. This store is more expensive than others, but the clothing is awesome and you can find some unique items here.
If you’re looking for something unique, head to the LEGO store. This store is huge and has some amazing LEGO creations on display. You can also find some unique Disney-themed LEGO sets that you won’t find anywhere else.
Other Entertainment
Want even more entertainment? Disney Village has you covered. This is the place to watch live sports, listen to live music or see a movie.
At the Sportsbar, you can watch live sporting events from around the world while enjoying a few drinks with friends. Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon is the place to be if you’re looking for some live music. This is a popular country-themed bar with live music every night.
Disney Village is also home to a large movie theatre. This is the perfect place to go on a rainy day or if you need a break from the parks. You can find all the latest blockbusters and Disney classics here.
Finally, there is Panoramagique, a very unique experience. This balloon ride takes you high above Disney Village for some incredible views of the resorts. Amazing during the day, but even more special at night.
Disney Village transformation
In the coming years, Disney Village will undergo an extensive transformation. The first step will be a new restaurant called Rosalie, a French brasserie in place of the Cafe Mickey restaurant.
The entire area will have a new and modern look and feel when the transformation is done—this is a welcome change to this outdated part of the resort. And we can’t wait for it to be done!
