The Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris is one of the most beloved Disney Hotels. This hotel is the fanciest near Disneyland Paris, and it offers the best view with rooms that overlook both Disney Parks. With just a 5-minute walk from both Parks and Disney Village, it’s also the most convenient, making it a favourite among families with small children. And even many celebrities were among the guests in the Victorian-themed rooms and suites of this luxury hotel.
Why is the Disneyland Hotel closed?
In 2021, the Disneyland Hotel closed for a “Royal Transformation”. The hotel was in dire need of refurbishment, with guests complaining about the outdated rooms and tired-looking facade of the hotel. We stayed in the hotel before the refurbishment, and while we loved the location, the rooms and hotel didn’t feel luxurious, even though we paid a premium for it. After the reopening of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021, this hotel became our go-to hotel for a more luxurious and comfortable stay.
But after seeing the concept art of the refurbished Disneyland Hotel, we can’t wait to give this hotel another try!
What will the hotel look like?
After its reopening, the Disneyland Hotel will have a royal theme, with rooms themed after Disney royalty like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. And the hotel will have all the luxury and modern amenities you expect from a 5-star hotel.
The concept art also gave us a peak into the lobby of the hotel, which looks more open and brighter and has an amazing chandelier with a castle in it.
Another image shows a character meeting location in the bar area of the hotel, near the two restaurants of the hotel. Looking up, you can see the balconies of the Castle Club, where the most expensive rooms and suites in this hotel are located.
On the outside, the hotel remains pretty much the same, with brand-new windows and a fresh colour of the distinctive pink paint.
When is the Disneyland Hotel Paris reopening?
The Disneyland Hotel is set to reopen in 2024, with no official opening date published yet. Bookings will open several months in advance, but expect the hotel to fill up fast, as this was also the case with Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel when it opened after the extensive refurbishment.
Room prices are also not available yet; however, expect them to be a few hundred pounds (euros) above the current prices of Hotel New York. With prices of the suites being somewhere between £2,000 and £10,000 per night.
This will be the flagship hotel of Disneyland Paris, which will not only reflect in the experience and amenities, but also in the price. But if you want a once in a lifetime experience or have a big milestone to celebrate? Then this hotel will definitely worth it.
